Daily Readings

St. Barnabas Readings:

Option A is simpler and takes less time. It follows the “Daily Devotions for Individuals and Families” section of the Book of Common Prayer (beginning on page 136). The daily Scripture readings are below (Psalm and Gospel)

Option B is rich and requires a bit more time, ~20-30 minutes (a reading from the Hebrew Scriptures, the Psalms, an Epistle and a Gospel, along with the Apostle’s Creed and various prayers, etc.). It follows the The Daily Office (beginning on page 75 in the Book of Common Prayer)

An online compilation of morning and evening prayer, updated each day, can be accessed at https://dailyoffice.wordpress.com/

The Scripture readings can also be accessed here: http://lectionarypage.net/

St Barnabas Daily Readings (Option A)

You can read the gospel passage in the morning and say the psalm in the evening – or whatever works for you.
